The Monk

The Monk is the player character in OKU, a wandering poet and spiritual seeker who embarks on a meditative journey across the landscapes of Japan. Following in the footsteps of their departed master, the Monk travels through bamboo groves, snowy ridges, autumn forests, and meadows in search of enlightenment, composing haiku-like poems along the way.
